About Taste of Mississippi

Taste of Mississippi offers culinary delights from 40 area restaurants, beverages from 10 local distributors, a silent auction, live music, and a competition among our participating restaurants to put on the best presentation and offer the best food samplings.

This year, the event will be held at The South Warehouse and The Railroad District located at 627 East Silas Brown Street in downtown Jackson. The South Warehouse/ The Railroad District in Jackson, gives our attendees more room to move around, allows for the event to host more restaurants, and even opens up the possibility to host food trucks. We are anticipating a Fabulous night for raising much needed funds for Stewpot! Taste of Mississippi has been named a Top 20 Event by the Southeastern Tourism Society and is attended by over 1,200 guests each year. If you've ever attended a "tasting" event, this one is the biggest and the best in the Jackson metro area!

All proceeds from Taste of Mississippi benefit Stewpot Community Services, whose mission is to provide for the needs of the poor, elderly, and disabled in Jackson's metro area. In 2016, this event raised more than $115,000 for Stewpot's 17 ministries. you are unable to attend Taste of Mississippi 2017 but have been looking for a way to contribute to the 17 ministries of Stewpot Community Services, please click the donate button below:
